I served as enlisted private in the Air Force from 1972, and in the past was chiefly engaged in land based air defense missile system of different types. After completing military college I held several operative appointments all over the country. As captain, I attained the position of commanding officer for HAWK Squadron 543 on Stevns, the squadron assigned to NATO's airborne command in preparation for rapid deployment in international affairs, if necessary.

Today I'm is employed in the national defense command where my job entails functioning in the Defense Chief's situation Center. Besides my everyday life with my family, my main interests are concentrated on Danish naval military history, with focus on the period called The wars against England 1801-1814 and genealogy.
